back from vacation. Day 18

WOW, it has been so very hot that I just can't seem to get my work out done. I have been walking all day the last two weeks, I was really hoping that it was enough.... and it was!! I can't wait to get back to some weight training, but I am just pleased as punch with my results.

Day 10 was just before I left, and I weighed in and measured.

Arms: 14 in
Bust: 44 in
Waist: 38 in
Hips: 42in
Thighs: 26 in

Total Inches: 164
Total Loss: 3 in

Weight: 183lb
Total Loss: 5lb

Weight loss to date: -42lb

Vacation went well, I did stray from the Isagenix program a bit, but got right back on track when I got home. I've really been working it and my 2nd cleansing day was yesterday. So very much easier then the first one. I'm feeling lighter today and my tan capris fit well (they were even a bit loose). This is just amazing. I really am looking forward to my 30th day when I am actually on my regular work out schedule. My second update:

Day 18:

Arms: 14 in (and holding)
Chest: 43 in
Waist: 37 in
Hips: 41in
Thighs: 25in

Total Inches: 160in
Inches Lost: 7

Weight: 179
Weight Loss: 11lb

Weight Loss to Date: -46lb

I am almost back to my low point that I hit earlier this year. I am truly amazed at how well this is going. Seeing this kind of results from a rough start is motivating for the rest of the 30 day challenge. Can't wait to blog again tomorrow.

Day Five, Year Two

Well I'm trying to follow my new Isagenix system to a 'T'. But separating my food and eating habits from my life is difficult. It is amazing how much we celebrate food. Social gatherings, birthdays, holidays all center around food. Tons of BBQs, picnics and potlucks. I don't think I ever really get invited to do too much that doesn't center around food. Leads me to believe we need to invite people to play at the park, camp or hike more often. Focus on inviting people to active, healthy activities, instead of hotdogs and hamburgers.

Good news is, even with straying a few times, I've already lost 4lb... IN 5 DAYS! And I feel good, lighter, more energy. I haven't even felt like taking a nap in the afternoon. It's been stellar. Today I have an uber-busy day and I'm hoping to get in a light work out. But I'm also doing my first cleanse, we'll see how it goes.

Thanks Peeps and Good Luck!

Day One - Year Two

I spent the last year sweating and watching what I eat. Working out 4-7 times a week, sometimes twice a day. I've gone from 225lb size 18 down to 175lb size 12, in the last couple of weeks I quit smoking and gained back 15 lb and now a size 14.

Today I started my Isagenix program today. I'm hoping that it will help push through the last 25-30lb that I have been fighting with for the last 5 months. The hardest part is the first 30 days. My very first full body cleanse. All the toxins will be flushed from my system making my body able to flush the fat instead of storing it to protect itself.

I am also participating in the 2009-2010 weight loss challenge. See what I can take off in the next year and keep off. I would love for you to join me. It would be great to have more accountability buddies.

So here is where I start:

Arms: 14 in
Chest: 44 in
Waist: 39 in
Hips: 43 in
Thighs 27 in

Total Inches: 167
Weight: 188

Total Weight Loss to date 37lb
